I am Kohei, content creator at 279

I’m Kohei and I work as a miso brewer at 279. I’m also a freelance videographer.

I’ve worked on a lot of the videos for 279 (including lunch box, mochinuts and steamed muffin). If you haven’t seen them, please check them out on Instagram. .

Last time I went back to Japan to see my family, I experienced authentic Japanese food and culture. I was always surrounded in this environment but I realised my eyes were not open enough. Everything was so beautiful and breathtaking, I didn’t realise how lucky I was until then. These experience has made me interested in Japanese food culture and also realised that there’s more room for knowledge about authentic Japanese food in Melbourne. I am very excited about sharing my experiences and more on Japanese food culture.
